4/14/25 St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School Grade 6-8 present the Living Station of the Cross 2025 It is a tradition here at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School that the middle school students invite us to walk with them in the footsteps of Jesus as they present the Living Stations of the Cross. This is a solemn and incredibly moving experience for our students as they bring the story of Jesus' passion to life. His love for us is so strong that Jesus willingly gave His life for our salvation. Though Jesus' suffering brings us much sadness, we rejoice with His resurrection on Easter Sunday.
4/12/25 St. Charles Takes On the Diocese of Venice Lion's Cup Robotics Tournament This year St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School had two teams participate in the Diocese of Venice Lion's Cup Robotics tournament. Teams had to design, build and program a robot that could accomplish different tasks to complete the Lego League challenge. This year's Lego League challenge theme was SUBMERGED, where students were required to use creative thinking and Lego technology to explore the layers of the ocean and bring their ideas to the surface. The Lego League core values of discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, impact and fun are in line with our STREAM curriculum. We competed with other schools in the Diocese of Venice and are so proud of our team for their final four finish! Keep up the great work Team Phoenix!
3/4/25 A NEW ERA FOR STC SOCCER❗️ STC soccer ends their historic season after advancing to the conference championship and putting up a very tough fight against St. Martha! They ended the regular season with a 6-2 record, attained the #2 seed for the conference playoffs, defeated Imagine School in the conference semifinals with overtime PK’s, and advanced to the conference championship for the first time since 2020! Truly a HISTORIC SEASON and these Crusader student-athletes represented our school in the highest way possible! Thank you St. Charles parents and families for your support! GO CRUSADERS!!! ✝️💙⚽️
12/19/24 STCBS Student Government Association Spreads Holiday Cheer! The STCBS Student Government Association (SGA) partnered with the Florida Highway Patrol to bring Christmas to those in need this season. We are honored to support the Florida Highway Patrol during this time of the year to bring smiles to little girls and boys all across the state. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!
12/14/24 Team Phoenix Robotics Attends Regional Competition Am amazing job by a group of amazing students. We came back to STCBS with Core Vales Award, Welcome to the Region “dragon” award, and an invitation to the Regional Competition. We can’t say enough about how these students have come together and the effort they have put forth. Congratulations Team Phoenix Robotics!
9/19/24 GIRLS VOLLEYBALL SECURES THE FIRST EVER WIN IN OUR NEW HOME! Huge congratulations to our girls volleyball squad for earning the first ever win in our new gym! These Lady Crusaders defeated Imagine School in two straight sets. This is also our first ever volleyball win against Imagine School in our school’s history! GO CRUSADERS!!! ✝️🏐
9/17/2024 FLAG FOOTBALL STARTS THE SEASON STRONG! Our flag football squad has started off the season with a 2-1 record after defeating both Venice Christian and Grace Christian last week! 9/11/2024 CRUSADER ATHLETICS HISTORY! St. Charles’ first ever volleyball game in our brand new gym was played yesterday!
