Welcome!  I am the Kindergarten teacher here at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School.  I was raised in upstate NY.  I graduated from Ithaca College and earned my credentials at Edison Community College.  This is my second year teaching in Kindergarten; prior to that I taught and volunteered at various primary grade levels.  God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and two boys.  We lead an active lifestyle often going boating, fishing, and camping.

A few of my strongest beliefs regarding education and children include the following:

  • My first obligation is to help children learn effectively and meet with success.
  • My mission is to provide quality education by modeling Christian values and responsibility.
  • Parent/teacher communication is extremely important to each child’s academic and social success.
  • Every child is talented and has strengths that should be celebrated.
  • A comfortable and safe environment will empower children to get involved in learning new things.
  • Learning should be hands-on, interactive, imaginative, and FUN!

To students:  My desire is for you to become the sunshine of God’s love and carry that with you wherever you go.  What you receive is not yours to keep but to share.

I look forward to a wonderful year!
